Dr. Scott Conkright is an advisor to LFI. He received his B.A. in Psychology from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis.
He earned a Master's Degree from Drake University in Counseling Education, and then his Doctorate degree from the Illinois
School of Professional Psychology in Chicago.
Before moving to Atlanta in 1996, Dr. Scott Conkright maintained a private practice in Chicago. He has been providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples and groups for over 15 years. Dr. Scott Conkright specializes in depression, anxiety, couple's therapy, sexual addiction, and sexual orientation issues.
In addition to providing therapy, Dr. Scott Conkright has served as President of the Atlanta Group Psychotherapy Society as well as the Affiliate Board of the American Group Psychotherapy Association. He is also a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the American Analytical Society. He presents workshops nationally on group psychotherapy and on Lacanian psychoanalysis.
